(More customer reviews)I collect cookbooks and am searching for the Italian cookbook that comes the most close to my Mother In Law's style of cooking. She passed away in 1984 and I've been searching ever since. She was Sicilian-American and was an amazing cook. Many of the recipes in Mr. Food's Italian Kitchen by Art Ginsburg come very close using readily available ingredients. What I love about it is that you don't need major cooking skills to follow the very simple recipes. They have few ingredients and they are usually on hand. I recommend this book for people who are new to cooking and to Italian cooking. You will really enjoy and actually use many of these recipes.
