A History of Modern Germany, 1800-2000 Review

I bought this book for a college class on German History. I went into reading this book with high hopes for a better understanding of Germany's role in World War I and my faith was rewarded greatly. I couldn't believe the amount of interesting information there was on this amazing nation and give great regards to the author Martin Kitchen for turning my brain in this direction. I currently have much interest in the German Monarchy of 1871-1918 and may want to study it in graduate school. I thank this book for everything it has taught me and hope many other readers develop the same understanding.
