(More customer reviews)This book is absolutely great! Not only did it make it possible for me to tackle tasks I never thought I could, it showed me step-by-step how to do a variety of things. It helped me decide what jobs were too much for my humble skills, and when I should hire professionals. I refinished cabinets (never thought I could do that), laid tile (it was fun!), and I ended up with a remodeled kitchen that cost half of what I had anticipated and one that is unique. My kitchen is the envy of my friends and they are amazed when they learn how much of it I actually did myself.
