(More customer reviews)The children are in bed for the night...that is what Mom and Dad think. The children wake up and hear some strange noises coming from the kitchen. They quietly walk through the house and peak into the kitchen. They are delighted with what they see. Mom and Dad are washing dishes...but they are also singing and dancing and enjoying some quality time at the end of the day.
This Hispanic family is portraying genuine love and affection for each other. The illustrations truly make the story come alive. I highly recommend this book for read-aloud sessions.
This book is also wonderful for sharing with children at bedtime. A great addition to your multi-cultural collection.
