AS a Faith Fairchild fan of longstanding, I've awaited this collection eagerly, knowing I'd enjoy it. Followers of the series needn't worry about whether the recipes are worth the money. We know they are reliable and delicious! As the previous reviewer said, it is great to have all the recipes in one volume in the kitchen; no more hunting through the novels to find the one I want. It's even better for those like me who own some but not all of the books. I don't have to go the library for the recipes anymore. I've always loved Page's author's notes at the ends of the books and am delighted to have all of them in the cookbook.
My only disappointment (one that might have been avoided by more detail in the product description) was the lack of new material. I'd have loved a few more notes on the recipes and their development or new glimpses into the researching and writing of the novels. Some pictures of the food would have been great too. If you already own the series, you'll still appreciate this collection; you just won't find anything new.
