(More customer reviews)I've owned this book for several years and I rely on it constantly. It's organized alphabetically so it's easy to use. Each heading has information and tips. There are also many great recipes. My husband said that the pecan pie I made using the recipe in this book "was the best pecan pie he had ever eaten". I particularly like the Ol' Mushroom Soup recipe, it's become a staple in my repertoire. It's a great starter cookbook and also a good source of information for the experienced cook. If you like cookbooks that have lots of color pictures, this one's not for you, but if you like cookbooks that make you want to try new things or rethink how you do things, try this one.
