(More customer reviews)The first chapter of the book made me feel as if I were reading "Night" all over again due to the rough life experienced by the author. This book described her pain and troubles that she and her family experienced. Fortunately, this book is not a pity party, but shows how God worked in the author's life to help overcome these problems. The author shares all of these details and what I will call "God Moments" to help you get closer to God. Reading this reminded me of Lucado in the sense that it is a nice, easy-going read that fills you up every time you read it. After reading this, I look forward to the extreme challenges I will face in life and am ready to see how God will help me overcome and how I will become closer to Him in the process. If you are feeling like you want to be closer to God, which you should in any case, read this book.
Note** There is an application section at the end that helps you reflect and see how you can get more of God in your life.(Application sections are my favorite!!!)
